Custom Trousers FAQ

Can I order custom trousers without a jacket?

Yes. Separate trousers receive their own individual pattern and fitting attention. Choose cloth and a silhouette to work with the jackets, knitwear and shirts you already wear. Our wardrobe guide helps plan those combinations.

Can I choose the rise, pleats and waistband details?

Yes. Discuss your preferred waist position, flat front or pleats, and belt loops or side adjusters with your clothier. Each choice affects the finished silhouette and comfort. Our trouser details guide explains how they work together.

How should custom trousers fit through the seat and leg?

The waist should feel secure, with room through the seat and thigh for normal movement. Knee and hem width complete the line. Check the trousers standing, walking and sitting; our fit guide explains what to assess.

Should I bring my shoes to the fitting?

Yes. The shoes you intend to wear help establish trouser length, break and leg opening together. A narrow hem and a fuller leg sit differently over a shoe, so the finished length is assessed in context.
