Custom Suit Pricing at Enzo Custom

Cost is determined by material, construction, and execution never by category.

There is no fixed price for a custom garment.

Each piece is developed individually its cost defined by the decisions that shape it.

Cloth, structure, and design determine the outcome. Price follows. Enzo Custom produces garments through private showroom appointments pricing each commission based on material selection, construction requirements, and intended use.

What Determines Price

A custom garment is not priced as a product.

It is priced as a composition of inputs—the cloth selected, the structure required, and the complexity of the garment.

To understand how custom differs from made-to-measure at the structural level:

(→ Custom vs Made-to-Measure)

Pricing Range

Custom suits developed in Super 140s to Super 160s cloth typically range from $1,000 to $2,500, depending on fabric selection and construction method.

At the highest level, commissions in rare fibers including 100% vicuña sourced from the Andes represent the upper boundary of the category.

The range is not fixed. It reflects the decisions made.

Cloth

Cloth is the primary factor.

Fabric selection determines weight, seasonality, durability, and finish.

Super 120s through 150s wool offers balance for daily wear. Higher Super numbers introduce increased softness and refinement.

Cloth is selected in context—not by label.

Construction

Construction method directly influences cost.

Full canvas construction requires greater precision and labor than fused alternatives—and produces a garment that improves with wear.

Design and Complexity

Price is also influenced by what is being built.

A two-piece suit, a three-piece suit, a tuxedo, a sport jacket, an overcoat, and a formal commission each carry different construction requirements.

Additional complexity lining choices, functional detailing, and structural reinforcement—affects both labor and final cost.

How Pricing Works

Pricing is established during the appointment.

Cloth is reviewed in person. Options are compared directly. Decisions are made in context.

Each choice carries a visible and measurable difference in both performance and cost.

(→ The Process)

Clarity Before Commitment

All pricing is transparent before a garment is commissioned.

There are no hidden adjustments. No post-production changes.

The final cost is established at the time of selection.

Value Over Time

A custom garment is not evaluated at the moment of purchase.

It is evaluated over years—how it maintains structure, how it integrates into an existing wardrobe, and how it performs relative to its cost over time.

(→ True Custom Tailoring)

Cost reflects what is chosen. Value is what remains.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a custom suit cost?

Most custom suits range from $1,000 to $2,500, depending on fabric selection, construction, and design complexity.

What affects the price of a custom suit?

Cloth, construction method, and garment complexity are the primary factors that determine cost.

Is the price determined before production?

Yes. All pricing is finalized during the appointment before the garment is commissioned.

Are custom suits more expensive than off-the-rack?

Custom garments are priced higher than off-the-rack because each is drafted, cut, and constructed individually. The cost reflects material, labor, and long-term performance—not markup on a finished product.

Do more expensive fabrics perform better?

Not always. Higher-end fabrics offer increased softness and refinement, but durability depends on how the garment is intended to be worn.

Is there a minimum order or deposit required?

There is no minimum order. Pricing is established during the appointment, and all costs are confirmed before a garment is commissioned.
