Tuxedos & black tie
Custom Tuxedo Cost
Custom tuxedos at Enzo Custom start at $645. Cloth, construction and design determine your final price, confirmed before production. Budget separately for any shirt, waist covering and accessories you need, so the quote reflects the complete outfit you intend to wear.
Custom tuxedos from $645
Enzo Custom tuxedos start at $645. The final quote identifies your selected cloth, construction and design, with any additional garments or accessories priced as part of your order. You approve that specification and price before production.
If you already have a budget, state it at the appointment. A clothier can then present relevant choices and explain meaningful differences. You should be able to compare the options without working through fabrics that have no relationship to what you intend to spend.
What determines the final price?
Cloth is a major part of the decision, but a mill name alone does not explain a price. Composition, the particular collection, availability and the chosen design all matter. Two dark cloths can differ in surface, firmness, weight and the way they respond to light.
Construction is a separate conversation from the cloth label. Full canvas is the standard for structured jackets at Enzo Custom, with half canvas used when appropriate or requested and no fused jacket-front construction. Your written specification records the construction selected for your jacket.
| Part of the decision | Ask to see or confirm | Why it affects your comparison |
|---|---|---|
| Cloth | The actual swatch and its composition | Similar colors can have different textures and uses |
| Jacket design | Front, lapel, facing and shoulder | The photograph alone may not show every choice |
| Trousers | Rise, waistband and leg shape | The formal outfit depends on both garments |
| Additional pieces | Shirt, waist covering and accessories | A garment price is not necessarily a complete outfit |
| Schedule | Production and fitting plan | Event timing may affect the available options |
Assess the pattern and fit alongside price
An individual pattern is useful because it addresses the way you stand and move, not merely a set of dimensions. Enzo Custom records more than 30 measurements and assesses posture, independent shoulder slope and arm pitch. The jacket and trouser patterns are developed for their different demands.
During fittings, the relevant questions are visible: does the collar remain close in your natural stance, does the chest lie cleanly, and can you sit without the trousers pulling? A list of materials or handwork cannot answer those questions by itself. Our custom tuxedo guide explains the garment as a whole.
Budget for the complete evening outfit
A tuxedo needs a suitable shirt and coordinated accessories. If you already own them, bring them to the fitting. If you need new pieces, include them in the budget from the start. Shirt front, collar and cuff must work with your chosen studs, bow tie and jacket sleeve.
The tuxedo shirt guide and formal accessories guide help establish that list. Ask for any dinner jacket, waistcoat or additional trousers to be itemized with the main outfit.
How repeat wear affects value
Repeated wear spreads the purchase cost across more evenings. Include care and future adjustments when comparing ownership with renting. The rent or buy guide provides a transparent example.
Browse the tuxedo collection for direction, then confirm cloth, details, complete outfit and schedule together. The finished specification should make the cost of each choice clear.
Questions and answers
What is the starting price for an Enzo Custom tuxedo?
Custom tuxedos start at $645. The final price for your selected cloth, construction and design is confirmed before production.
Does the starting price include a tuxedo shirt?
Ask for the shirt and any accessories to be itemized with the tuxedo. The $645 starting price is not a complete-outfit quote.
Can I choose cloth around a fixed budget?
Yes. Tell your clothier your intended budget so the selection can begin with relevant available options and a clear explanation of differences.
Does a more expensive fabric always make a better tuxedo?
No. The cloth needs to suit the event, climate, intended wear and silhouette. A higher price or finer fiber alone does not guarantee better performance or fit.
Is rush available for a tuxedo?
Rush is approximately two and a half weeks, subject to confirmation of cloth availability and fitting time for your event.
