Bring the shirt and shoes you expect to wear with the garment. If the order is for an event, include the invitation and travel dates so Dante can plan the fitting sequence around the actual occasion.

A Houston wardrobe may need to move between outdoor heat and air-conditioned rooms. Tell Dante how much time you spend in each, whether you travel regularly and how often the garment will be worn. The answer may be different for a daily business suit and a suit for one outdoor ceremony.

Enzo’s collections encompass 10,000 fabrics, with sources including Loro Piana, Zegna, Dormeuil, Holland & Sherry, Vitale Barberis Canonico and Solbiati. Compare an open-weave wool with a smoother worsted or linen, then assess the drape and surface you want. Fiber, weight and weave work together; a Super number alone does not establish how cool a suit will feel.

For a suit worn through a working day, assess how it feels seated and how the jacket behaves when you reach. A clean outline does not require restriction across the back or upper arm. The collar should sit in relation to the shirt; the trousers need the right rise and room through the seat as well as the desired leg line.

Start with the suit collection if you have a color or style in mind. Dante can then adjust jacket length, lapels, pockets and trouser details in relation to your proportions. Bring the belt or braces you will wear so the waistband and finished length can be checked in context.

New clients are measured in the showroom. Over 30 measurements are accompanied by an assessment of shoulder slope, asymmetry, arm pitch and front and back balance. Your stance and preferred ease matter alongside the measurements: a jacket has to hang on your body as it moves.

An individual pattern is drafted from scratch for you and the garment category. The constructed garment is assessed and usually refined through two to three fittings. The fit record is retained and updated for later orders, rather than assuming that your measurements or preferences will never change. Full floating canvas is standard for Enzo’s structured jackets. This internal layer supports the chest and lapels and lets the outer cloth drape naturally. We do not use fused jacket-front construction. Dante can explain how the build supports a defined silhouette without treating structure as a single fixed look.

Half canvas is available where appropriate or requested, and unconstructed jackets offer a softer alternative. Lining is a separate decision: full, partial or no lining does not by itself describe the canvas beneath the cloth. Discuss both when selecting a warm-weather jacket. An outdoor ceremony followed by dinner indoors needs a different conversation from an entirely indoor black-tie evening. Share the dress code and the whole event plan. Settle the level of formality first, then compare cloth and construction appropriate to the setting.

A tuxedo should be fitted with its formal shirt and shoes. Trouser rise, waist coverage, lapel facing and accessories need to work together. Browse the tuxedo collection for a starting direction; a separate dinner jacket can also be planned around suitable formal trousers you own.

For a wedding party, agree the shared cloth or styling details while fitting each person individually. Tell Dante where party members live and when they can attend appointments. Plan around the departure date as well as the ceremony, leaving room for the garments to be assessed before travel.

Separate jackets and trousers offer another way to dress when a matching suit is more formal than the occasion requires. Texture and contrast help the pieces work together. Bring the trousers you intend to pair with a new jacket so the cloth, length and shoulder can be judged as an outfit.

Custom shirts are shaped around your collar, sleeves and preferred ease, with mother-of-pearl buttons as standard and a split-yoke option. Trousers incorporate a hand-set curtain waistband and V-split detail, with rise, seat and leg line addressed together. An overcoat has its own pattern and can be fitted over the layers you expect to wear on colder trips. Each category starts with its particular use.
